NATHAN STITH APPOINTED
DIRECTOR OF GOLF, THE RITZ-CARLTON GOLF CLUB,
ORLANDO, GRANDE LAKES
Orlando, FL – April 2012 – Nathan Stith has been appointed Director of Golf, The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, Grande Lakes. In this position, he will oversee all golf operations for the 18-hole championship golf course designed by two-time British Open winner and PGA Tour icon Greg Norman that features Golf Digest Schools’ golf instruction. He will also be responsible for the 11,000-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Golf Clubhouse featuring a 150-seat restaurant as well as a pro-shop.
Stith is no stranger to Grande Lakes Orlando. He was part of the opening team of The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in 2003 and spent a year there as Golf Pro and Golf Shop Buyer. Prior to that he was at the Boone Valley Golf Club in Augusta, Missouri. Stith returns to Orlando after eight years at the award-winning Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami where he was Head Golf Professional for three years and Director of Golf for five. In this position, Nathan was responsible for the overall direction of the golf service operation, which featured a 90-hole resort with 600 golf members.

Nathan Stith holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing with a concentration in Professional Golf Management from Methodist University, North Carolina.
