Fly Fishing
Fly fishing excursions take place on the 40-acre Shingle Pond (parallel to Shingle Creek), which sits on the most remote section of Grande Lakes. Here, guests board Hyde Drift boats alongside a guide team and fish the private waters of Shingle Pond, where fly fishing enthusiasts have the chance to reel in trophy Largemouth Bass. Guests also have an opportunity to spin or fly fish two miles of Shingle Creek on the Headwaters to the Everglades. During their fly fishing adventure, guests also can catch a glimpse of bobcats, egrets, deer and wild turkey roaming at the shoreline.

Two-Day G. Loomis Signature Fly FIshing School
The G. Loomis Signature Fly Fishing School is a custom fly fishing journey designed with each angler’s personal fly-mission in mind. After our FFF Certified Casting Instructors and G. Loomis Pro Staff establish your PFP (Personal Fishing Profile) a specific G. Loomis Profile Package will be created including instruction, equipment, guides and locations to fulfill each angler’s fly fishing dreams

Fly Fishing on Shingle Pond from Hyde Drift Boats
Experienced fly anglers can enjoy a three-hour excursion fly fishing for trophy Largemouth Bass with our G. Loomis Pro Staff from Pro Series Hyde Drift Boats.

18 Holes of Bass Fishing
18 holes of fishing for spin anglers on our Greg Norman Signature Golf Course. Enjoy a two-hour excursion, fishing for Trophy Largemouth Bass with our G. Loomis Pro Staff on one of our 13 private ponds.

G. Loomis First Time Flyer Fly Fishing Seminar
Beginners and novice fly anglers learn from the best and put their new skills to practice during this three hour Fly Fishing Seminar. The seminar includes hands on casting instruction with FFF Certified Casting Instructors, and a walking tour Fly Fishing for Trophy Largemouth Bass.

G. Loomis Private Fly Fishing Instruction
Private fly fishing instruction for beginners and novice fly anglers lead by FFF Certified Casting Instructors.

Fly Tying Instruction
Have fun and learn the art of Fly Tying and broaden your fly fishing skills by making your own flies. Classes are two hours and we provide everything you need to get started, including materials, tools and a vise that are yours to keep.
