GRANDELAKES ADVENTURE COURSE - EXCITING, FUN, AND UNFORGETTABLE!
WHAT IS IT?
The Grande Lakes Adventure Course consists of two exciting high wire experiences, the Discovery Course and Exploration Course, which offer over 35 unique aerial walkways ranging from 15-feet to 50-feet in the air. Each course allows you to move at your own pace and stay in the air the entire time. Once you're ready to descend back to the ground you can ZIP, SWING or take the stairs. We recommend the ZIP and Swing!
The Exploration Course is a great start to your adventure. The course is set 15-feet above the ground with two routes to choose from with a total of 12 aerial challenges. Each route offers different challenges including our 150-feet dueling zip lines! This course also offers a safety system designed to allow children from the ages 5 and up to explore!
MUST BE 5 YEARS OR OLDER.
The Discovery Course is our signature course that combines adrenaline, inspiration, exploration and discovery on a three level structure towering 55-feet into the sky! Once you ascend you enter an up-and-down-and-all-around environment that allows you to choose your pathway to new heights. Two ways to get up, 25 aerial pathways and three ways down to earth! The Discovery Course boasts two 600-foot zip lines and a 40-foot Giant’s Swing that is sure to have your heart thumping!
MUST BE 10 YEARS OR OLDER. ADULT MAY HAVE TO ACCOMPANY CHILD ON THE COURSE.
WHAT GUESTS SHOULD EXPECT
About a 3 hour block of time that includes:
Times are approximate
- Transportation to and from the course 5 minutes
- Introduction 5 minutes
- Safety briefing and equipment fitting 5 minutes
- Ground school and practice 15 minutes
- On the Course! 1 hr 45 minutes
- Equiptment removal and transportation back to Resort 10 minutes
Guest are required to sign a Release Form during the Introduction and must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Flat-soled, close-toed shoes. No sandals, clogs and/or high heeled foot wear
- No loose or excessive jewelry
- No skirts
- Shorts must be longer than mid-thigh
- No excessively baggy clothing
- Alcohol MAY NOT be consumed within the day prior to participating at the course
- Personal climbing gear can NOT be used on the course
- Minors must be accompanied by his/her legal guardian at the course. Guardians may have to accompany minor(s) on the course.
Guests will be provided with water, sun screen, and all equipment necessary to participate.
WHEN CAN I GO?
Guests can experience the Grande Lakes Adventure Course during any normal operating hours. We offer a complimentary shuttle at the lobby of both The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott

PACKAGES
Open Session Adventure
Zip, Swing, and traverse across Orlando's premier Adventure Course. Sessions are 2.5 hours and can accommodate up to 30 guests.
When: Open most Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays
Private Friends and Family Adventure
A unique and unforgettable experience tailored for your friends and family. Our Adventure staff will provide expert guidance and one to one coaching while exploring the Grande Lakes Adventure Course.
When: Scheduled to fit your itinerary
Climbing and Rappelling Class
Guests will have the opportunity to ascend our rock climbing wall and then learn to self-rappel back to the ground. Belay techniques and climbing knots will be taught in a two-hour class located at our Adventure Course.
When: Friday - Sunday mornings. Hours may vary based on the time of year.
